Meet Our Team

Joe Carr

co-founder

Augmentum Group

Joe started his career in the Microsoft space in 2013 then the Salesforce and CPQ space in 2015, managing a large book of business before moving in-house to a Salesforce partner in 2018, helping the company organically grow to acquisition.

He then joined a growing Saas business before founding Augmentum Group with Lex in early 2025. Joe has hired talent at all levels up to C level Executives and has placed over 1000 individuals into roles across industries. He takes a human first approach to building relationships and a lot of his clients are formerly people he’s placed who have gone on to set up their own businesses.

Outside of work, Joe enjoys outdoor activities, training (running, kickboxing, circuit training, rugby), cold water swims, and spending time with his growing family of his wife and 5 children.

Lex Leonard

Lex began his career in recruitment focusing on Salesforce and cloud technology, quickly developing into a leading expert in placing top-tier talent across consulting and technology roles.

With close to a decade of experience hiring in the space, Lex has spent the last several years heading up a globally leading team in Salesforce and ServiceNow recruitment. During this time, he and his team have hired hundreds of delivery experts, C-level executives, and high-performing sales leaders.

He has helped dozens of consultancies scale to elite partner status and supported countless in-house firms in establishing Centers of Excellence within the Salesforce and ServiceNow ecosystems.

In 2025, Lex co-founded Augmentum to deliver a tailored, partnership-driven approach to sourcing and talent acquisition for consultancies. With a proven track record in identifying and securing exceptional candidates for business-critical roles, Lex specializes in helping organizations achieve their growth and talent goals.

Outside of work, Lex is an avid rugby player who enjoys boxing, MMA, track athletics, and spending time with his family.
